Legian is a suburban and beach area on the west coast of Bali in Indonesia, stretching north of Kuta and south of Seminyak, and its location is a good indication of its feel and a great recreational place where you can swim in clear waters and go for leisurely walks along streets lined with boutiques and restaurants. Legian offers the same easy access to shops and bars but a slightly more relaxed and less chaotic feeling. The northern area of Legian bordering Seminyak offers a bit of an escape from the crowds and is also a popular surf beach. There are plenty of things to do in Legian, including shopping, swimming, eating out, massages, and surfing lessons. At the beach end of Jalan Melasti is a large market selling traditional Balinese items and souvenirs. Waterbom Bali is one of Bali’s best water parks. The recreational site is within about 20 minutes’ drive from the main Legian hub.
